The week that was the Art History Residential School is over. So the only part of the course left to do is the end of module assignment; a chance to consolidate and develop our analytical skills further. The week also gave the opportunity to make new friends and revisit old ones (although artworks are apparently objects I must confess that to me they become more like friends, particularly when interacting with a particular image for weeks or months). This is the canvas on my easel at the moment and everyone from the course would know it is after Turner.
